With film examples and colourful anecdotes from 20+ years in the field, filmmaker Ian Toews tries to get the core of what makes a good documentarian (or if nothing else, entertain you).
His documentary work is primarily concerned with the natural environment and often, its degradation. For Toews' full bio, check out our Special Guests page.
This workshop is presented by and made possible through support from the Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative, a non-profit artist-run centre which supports and assists independent visionary film and video production in Saskatchewan.
Students are especially encouraged to attend, as the last hour of the workshop will feature an opportunity to meet and have coffee with Ian. We hope to see you there!
