A premiere to launch the festival

The Living Skies Student Film Festival kicks off on Thursday evening with the premiere screening of Kolbie Nessett's Stigma, a film about a woman who folds in on herself after having a baby, struggling with mental illness and postpartum depression.

Stigma was shot this past fall as part of the Film 400 group projects in the Department of Film at the University of Regina.

In addition to finishing Stigma and being a full time student, writer/director Kolbie Nessett is somehow finding time to be a crew member on the organised mayhem that is the WolfCop II production, currently spreading its cinematic carnage across #YQR.
