Our 28th year?

Film students at the University of Regina have been organising a film festival for at least 28 years (we're pretty sure 1988 was the first one. KP Henders who now works for the Saskatchewan Arts Board was one of the organisers of that festival). In 2012, the festival was given a new name- The Living Skies Student Film Festival - and shifted from a spring event after the academic year ended, to an event that takes place in the middle of the Winter semester. The students who organise the festival are also in the midst of making their own films and things can get pretty hectic in the run up to the festival.
